Member Spotlight: Erin Grannis

We are so grateful for our Allomi Tribe! This month's member spotlight is the one-and-only Erin Grannis. She lights up the room with her smile and her joyful energy is contagious! We wanted to honor this amazing Mama and let you get to know her a little better!

Where are you originally from? How long have you been in the SouthBay?

I am originally from the great state of Idaho. I moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to attend USC and never left. I met my husband when I started my career in real estate. We have been married for almost 10 years and have a 6 year old son Michael and a daughter Lizzie who is 3 ½. My husband grew up in Palos Verdes and knew he wanted to bring his family back. We moved to PV from Redondo in 2011 and plan on never leaving!

What does a day in the life of Erin Grannis look like?

I am a very routine oriented person. I try and workout in the morning a couple days a week. Then it is time to get those kiddos up, breakfast on the table, dressed and out the door for drop off at 2 schools. I then must get my Starbucks on the way to work. I try and leave my office by 4pm to get home and spend time with the munchkins. I get dinner on the table, kids bathed and to bed and I am following shortly after! The best day is my life is Friday Funday which includes Plyojam at 9:30am with the gals and the start of my weekend!

What is your business?

I am a commercial real estate broker at CBRE.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

My family and my friends are my world. I love building legos with my son and being a boy mom! And I of course love teaching my daughter about the finer things in life - pedicures, clothing, shoes and accessories! J I love drinking wine by the fire with my husband, reading before going to sleep, and skiing the mountains of Sun Valley. I enjoy shopping, working out and catching up with my gal pals.

What is your favorite class at Allomi and why?

Without a doubt, Plyojam! There is nothing better than an incredible workout with your girlfriends, great music and a fantastic instructor. You cannot help but smile when you do this class, and sweat profusely!

How do you balance being a working Mom, Wife, Friend … what do you do for self-care?

Being a mom is the most wonderful hardest job I will ever have. Throw a husband, a career, being a reliable friend, a loving daughter, the best sister and hopefully a role model to others, makes my life pretty busy. I try my hardest to take care of me, I work out, I get regular facials, I go on dates with my husband, I talk to my parents every day, I read daily and I try to get a good night’s sleep. I know that when I am at my best, I am the best to everyone who needs and wants me in their life.

Any other info you’d like to share?

I so enjoy meeting and getting to know others. I hope more women join our Plyojam group. It is a special place – no judgements are ever made, we laugh and giggle and often get a mimosa after!
